Amy L Zhu. is a creative practice using ceramics as its primary language, exploring how the experiences we live, and those we cannot live ourselves, can be understood, carried and shared.

At the centre of the practice are three interconnected ideas: Context, Liberty and Care.

To seek enough context to understand.
To make room for the liberty to feel and choose.
To care for experiences and choices beyond our own.

​

For now, these ideas find their most physical form in clay, objects made to be held, used and lived with.
